GETTING HERE & CAR PARKING

FAQ's

Sandown Airport is located in Lake on the Isle of Wight. Our neighbours are the Morrisons Superstore.

 

We recommend using Southern Vectis buses to get to the event. The number 8 route, drops you off right outside the event. There will be extra buses towards Newport & Ryde leaving Morrisons Bus Stop between 10pm-midnight on both nights.

Fairweather Festival also offers limited, Free Car Parking on a first come, first served basis.

​

Please respect the surrounding neighbourhood and areas when arriving & leaving the site.

To combat fraud and duplication, Fairweather Festival is now using a physical ticket system via new providers TicketSource.

Tickets purchased via the website will be sent to the address denoted when the purchase took place. Please direct any ticket enquiries to TicketSource by calling 0333 666 4466 or emailing support@ticketsource.co.uk - ensure you keep your booking reference and receipt which was emailed to you upon purchase of tickets. 

Can I bring the kids?

Definitely! Fairweather Festival is aimed to cater for the whole family! With a fun bounce arena, a full fun fair and a specific childrens area - there is something for everyone.

Can I camp at Fairweather Festival?
Fairweather Festival offers no camping directly, although if you would like to camp nearby, please contact Sandown Airport about availability on (01983) 716926.

​

Can I bring my own alcohol?
No, alcohol cannot be brought into the event. There are fully licensed bars available for you.

​

Are BBQs, Chinese lanterns, flares, fireworks or fires allowed?
No, we have a no naked flame policy at the festival. Fires, flares, fireworks etc will extinguished by our festival fire service.

Is phone charging available on site?
No, please bring enough power to be able to contact people. Also, leave your phone in your pocket and get stuck into the fun instead.

​

Are the cashpoint machines on site?
No. The nearest cashpoint is located at Tesco Express in Lake. Please think ahead and bring enough cash for your time on site.

​

Can I leave the festival site and then come back in?
No re-entry will be allowed to the event after 20:00. People entering the site for the first time will be still be able to enter after this time. Ticket holders will need to be in possession of a valid wristband if re-entering. 

​

Can I bring my dog/cat/rabbit/bat/newt?
No pets or animals are allowed on site with the exception of registered guide dogs.

FACILITIES

Lessons Learnt from 2017 - Fairweather Festival promises a better service in regards to toilets and licensed bars.

​

There will be a large amount of regularly-maintained toilets on site, these will be in groups of 10 at various locations on site. There will also be adequate disabled facilities on site.

​

We also promise a minimum of 4 fully stocked bars at fair prices. This includes a cocktail bar for those who dare to go VIP.
